Campus to Commerce Announces Sponsorship of the Charlotte Business Expo

Written By Tiffany Cheeseboro

CHARLOTTE, NC – March 30, 2025 – Campus to Commerce, a nonprofit organization dedicated to connecting college students with small to medium-sized businesses through micro-internships, has announced its sponsorship of the upcoming Charlotte Business Expo taking place on April 2, 2025, at the Bojangles Coliseum.

The Charlotte Business Expo, one of the region’s premier networking events for local businesses, offers Campus to Commerce an ideal platform to introduce its innovative micro-internship model to the Charlotte business community.

“We’re thrilled to sponsor the Charlotte Business Expo and connect with local businesses who can benefit from our program,” said Tiffany Cheeseboro, Founder and Director of Campus to Commerce. “Our micro-internships create valuable opportunities for students to gain real-world experience while providing businesses with fresh talent and innovative thinking to tackle specific projects.”

Campus to Commerce focuses on creating short-term, project-based opportunities that benefit both students and businesses. These micro-internships, typically lasting 2-8 weeks, allow businesses to access skilled talent for specific projects without the longer-term commitment of traditional internships. Simultaneously, students gain valuable work experience, build their portfolios, and develop professional connections.

At the Charlotte Business Expo, Campus to Commerce representatives will be available to discuss how businesses can:

  • Design effective micro-internship programs
  • Connect with qualified student talent
  • Benefit from fresh perspectives and specialized skills
  • Support workforce development in the Charlotte community

Visitors to the Campus to Commerce booth will learn about the organization’s AI-driven matching system that aligns student skills and interests with business needs, as well as the comprehensive support provided throughout the internship process.

“Our presence at the Charlotte Business Expo represents our commitment to strengthening the connection between education and business in our community,” added Cheeseboro. “We invite all attendees to visit our booth to learn how micro-internships can transform their business while supporting the next generation of talent.”
