We’re excited to announce that Campus to Commerce will be participating in the 5th Annual Momma I Don’t Want to Go to College Skills and Trade Career Expo! This event showcases alternative career paths beyond traditional college education, connecting attendees with professionals across various industries.
The expo takes place this Saturday, April 26, 2025, at Sugaw Creek Recreation Center in Charlotte. Doors open at 10:00 AM, giving attendees a full day to explore opportunities in trades, technology, business, healthcare, beauty, and more.
Why This Event Matters
For many students and career-changers, finding the right path forward isn’t always straightforward. This expo brings together real professionals with real success stories, providing inspiration and practical next steps for those exploring alternatives to traditional four-year college programs.
As an organization dedicated to connecting students with meaningful work experiences, we’re particularly excited to showcase how micro-internships can build valuable skills and create pathways to promising careers.

Making Connections That Matter
This expo aligns perfectly with our mission of transforming how businesses and students connect. By participating, we hope to meet students looking for real-world experience and businesses seeking fresh talent. Our team will be available to answer questions about how our micro-internships work and how they benefit both students and local businesses.
We believe that meaningful professional experiences shouldn’t be limited by business size or industry type. The expo gives us an opportunity to share this vision with our community and demonstrate how our innovative approach to internships creates valuable opportunities for growth.
